Best Foot Forward-Metallic Shoe Trend '13

This Spring/Summer shoe trends are far from boring...from neons, to prints, is my favorite METALLICS. I personally love silver and gold in the warmer months. The way it glistens in the sun just makes everything feel so Luxe! I love the way it simply adds a little glitz and glam to your everyday look. Whether it's an all metallic shoe or just a metallic strap this new trend will definitely have you feeling like a million dollars!

Spring/Summer 2013 Shoe Trend: Architectural

Besides being a lover of clothing, I'm also a major shoe junkie! And this Spring's/Summer shoe trend is built in a very Architectural way! Architectural shoes as seen at Fendi, Rodarte, and Jen Kao amaze with number of details and style solutions. Simpler but not less stylish pieces could be seen at Missoni, Guy Laroche, and J. Mendel. I love the more affordable version of these structural shoes that Dolce Vita has made!

The "IT" Color Emerald Green

Ahh the "IT" color of the Season...my birthstone-Emerald Green! Emerald was very present on the catwalk and was spotted on a line of celebrities. It is definitely a stand-out coflor and looks absolutely stunning on a wide range of complexions.

The thing I love about this color, is that you can wear something plain and still look chic. Just accessorize with metallics when wearing a (maxi)dress or add some color to your all-black outfit by pairing it with some emerald earrings or a necklace. Or do it the minimalist way and wear emerald green nail polish. O.P.I., Sonia Kashuk, China Glaze and Revlon have some great shades. I also love pairing rich bold hues with this tone like a purple or deep blue would be the perfect color block!

Spring 2013: Get Spotted

The polka dot print isn't exactly a new print, yet it's the most popular this Spring Season. I always felt the print was a "little girl" print but the way it's being re-designed is making me so want to wear this print. Sheer tops with tone on tone polka dots are super chic for day or night time wear! I love the denim chambray polka dot shirts paired with a light wash denim for a perfect daytime look. It's an easy wearable trend so get your polka dot ON!

Late Summer Early/Fall Trend: Printed Pants/Denim

These eye catching bottoms are quite the fashion statement as the latest summer trend which will also continue into fall.  Graphic-print pants are extremely versatile as they can be taken from office to night by just updating some accessories. How To Wear: Rock a simple solid colored blouse or top. A great pair of flats, summery wedges or strappy vivid colored heels would work fabulously! Here's some of my favorite picks!

Peek-a-boo Bra!

With the fabulous sheer trend so dominant this Spring/Season there's a way to add a little more sexiness and that's by showing some bra. Their are some rules though when wearing this trend. Stick with a fuller coverage bra to maintain the classiness-leave the less exposing ones at home! My favorite way to wear this trend is with a colorful bra. It's vibrant colorful feel brings some playfulness. You can wear it with different style tops like over-sized slouchy tees, blouses, and low v-necks.

Get Studded..By Evie

I have a great red dress I'm planning on wearing to a celebration that has a cut-out bust line and the back of the dress has black open straps-it's just the right amount of class and sexiness. Because of the bust-line I can't really wear a necklace so I knew I needed to wear an edgy tough purse to polish off this look. I was in search for the right bag that I can wear to give my sexy dress a touch of roughness. A few accessories stores later I turned up with nothing. I did remember I had a rather plain fold over clutch bag that would go but it didn't have enough "toughness". Thankfully, my twin sister Evie who is also fashionably fabulous is uber creative and always makes custom things from her Halloween costumes to jewelry suggested taking my bag home and she would "stud it up" as she said. Wow, I didn't even know she owned a stud gun(assuming that's what the gadget is called LOL) and had loose studs! She said she will take care of it..so I carefully & slowly handed my purse over LOL and asked "Are you sure you know the look I'm going for?" She said "Absolutely" ! This is the end result...how gorgeous is the new custom studded clutch!? AMAZING! The stud placement and attention to detail is incredibly unique! I love it and can't wait to wear this bag! If you have anything that needs a little edginess contact her and she will stylishly stud it up! foxievie@gmail.com

Springs Shoe Trend: ColorBlock Shoes

This Springs "it" shoe trend is the tri-tone shoe. It's all about the ongoing colorblocking trend and its an easy way to pack some punch into your Spring wardrobe without be to daring with your clothing! I especially love the gray and nude tones with a bright yellow or red. How to wear this trend: Just wear one of the colors in the shoe – or wear solid neutrals – either way, you can’t go wrong with these fun shoes.

Spring's Hot Color: MINT

This soft pastel was always a favorite color of mine in the Spring/Summer months. I love how it looks with neutral tones like nude and gray. A different take then all those brights we are normally used to seeing around the S/S seasons. It really is flattering on every skin tone and hair color so you can wear it with your subtle Spring glow all the way to your rich deep Summer San Tropez glow!
