This fall season it's all about burgundy so I needed to update my makeup drawer with a new lip color! I was on the hunt for the perfect burgundy lip color and found Revlon's line of Colorstay Lipglaze. What I love about it is you still get the great shine of a lipgloss but you also get some great pigmented color which you would normally only find in a lipstick. The color is an absolute perfect shade of burgundy and looks stunning-not to overpowering yet makes a statement and would work beautifully on light and olive skin tones. I wear it with bronze metallic eyeshadow and it looks fab!

Sorry for my lack of posting these last few months but I'm proud to say I'm having my first baby-its a boy.. Matteo James! Im due in 19 days (10/10) so of course I've been busy getting everything ready for my little heart breaker! I promise I will start writing a lot more once I get our routine down!

I'm so excited for all the fashion this fall season! I'm totally revamping my wardrobe since I'll be out of maternity wear to fit the trends for this season. I've been scooping out the stylish celebs, runways, and fashion news to bring you my fall favorites! The hot "it" color is burgundy! More seductive and just as powerful as red you can wear it in many ways-bags, shoes, clothing, lips and nails!

The makeup trend is metallic! Metallic eyeshadows are everywhere and when applied properly you'll finish with a sultry, smudgy, glamorous eye that will sure turn heads!

This season's shoe style is a chunky heeled bootie. I love the versatility of this style because it looks great with tights, skinny jeans, wide leg jeans and sweater dresses.

I adore Stuart Weitzman's boots and have forever loved his casual flat leather and suede OTK(Over The Knee)boot he calls the 50/50 boot. But at $595, I let a dream remain a dream! I'm mostly in heels or heeled boots but these flat OTK boots always tickled my fashion senses! I just love love the cutaway top and it's hard finding that feature on any other boot without spending a fortune, well that's what I thought until today! At my local Daffy's I was browsing with no intent to buy(ha, is that possible?!) and I found an exact look-a-like! They were $49.99 with the same lovely cutaway top that I adore-ultra comfy and great quality in my opinion! The brand is Wanted-so trend-a-nistas literally run to Daffy's because these OTK flat boots are as close to Stuart Weitzman's 50/50 boot as you can get!

I just bought the most chic silk shirt and I am so in love! The silk shirt is such a timeless piece that will take you from work to weekend to a night out! It can be worn dressy style like seen on Olivia Palermo or causal like shown on Leighton Meester. Want to work this look?

Look for a shirt thats flowy but not baggy. The sleeves should hit right at your wrist.

Faux fur is this seasons hottest trend as seen on our most stylish celebs like the Kardashians and the fashion queen herself-Rachel Zoe! The key is to have this be your main focal piece. I love the styling options you have with this piece- you can either go very glam and pair it up with a leather mini or leather leggings(very model-esque) or go casual easy wear with flare jeans and basics underneath(think Rachel Zoe)It would also look adorable with a bell sleeve top(see picture below). Wear it with a white button down shirt with either dark skinny jeans or black trouser. Or else even over a cute little black dress. Lastly, you could even try a black or white long sleeved tee with a black skirt, black tights, and black booties. The only problem with this trend is if you don't buy the right type of faux fur vest you can easily add some extra bulk that you don't have! My number one tip on shopping for one is go hip length. I prefer a hip length faux fur vest because I like the proportions and feel it is the easiest length for most women to pull off. My second tip is avoid anything to "shaggy" or bulky looking. Tip #3, I also like a fur vest over a top and bottom the same color for the sleekest look (for example, a beige/brown vest over a black top and black pants. Onto my favorite choice for a faux fur vest its by Tinley Road it was $69.00($58 after a coupon code I found online *wink) Its gorgeously perfect!! Its hip length- so chic and no added bulkiness a must buy in my fashion book!

The stylish sista to the denim jean and also to the legging, we now have "Jeggings"! Its a new chic way to wear denim! They fit as tight as leggings so we must not need to worry about the "bunch up" non sense that occurs when you pair your favorite jeans with your mod high boots! Most are made with cotton and spandex which is why you'll still look like you're wearing a normal pair of jeans except now they are ultra tight and look perfect without that bunching effect. It was very entertaining to see all the fabulous gowns last night I was so drooling and in heaven! Here are my favorites of the evening.
Sarah Jessica Parker always makes the perfect fashion choices. SJP looks fabulous in this strapless, barely mint Dior Couture. She’s notorious for choosing Cinderella gowns so it's not surprising by her choice for the night.

Penelope Cruz-the elegant epitomy of spanish fashion-so sweet and classic I just love her even more for the gorgeous vintage Balmain gown she choose! Just look at the detail on that dress…

Heidi Klum was all about the accessories. I absolutly loved her fiery red RM by Roland Mouret gown-split and all! Just perfect for her skintone and attitude!

Teen Idol-Miley Cyrus, this sparkly gown by Zuhair Murhad accessorized with a butterfly belt and gold clutch, some are torn between do or don't with this choice but I feel it's perfect!

Natalie Portman definatly is a top candidate for for the best dressed-my personal fav. She looks simple yet stunning in this orchid colored
flowing piece that has a girly feel. The chiffon flows and sways with each movement to elongate her small stature. I love it!

Jennifer Aniston just dazzled in a silver Valentino gown. She accessorized with sparkling Fred Leighton jewels and Jimmy Choo satin sandals.

Its hard to keep up with all the shows going on right now but this collection is just gorgeous and I totally drooled when I saw his Fall 09 collection down the runway of NYFW! Matthew Willamson, whose line was full of an amazing color palette, lots of fur, and also lots of short dresses. My favorite thing about this collections were the fur pieces and the pants, its incredible how those pieces are so incredibly gorgeous! Oh how can I write about his show without mentioning the fuschia soled shoes-love it! Of course the zebra print shoes, definetely a MUST have in every "girls" closet!

Trying to figure out how to fill that wide, deep-v neckline?
